Botiwun Bamgbose

Deputy Operating Officer

Ms. Botiwun is a Nigerian humanitarian who started giving back to her community in 2017. Her love for African children is the root of her passion to protect and provide for them. She has donated her time to local causes, distributing resources like food, clothes, school supplies, and other items to underserved communities.

She is an advocate for ending world hunger, harping on the adverse effects it has on our people, especially the children. Her perspective is that hunger drives many to do things they ordinarily would not do, sometimes leaving lasting repercussions on their lives. She is especially passionate about this cause because of how it affects the girl child. Many girls across Africa have been sold into sex trafficking and have experienced sexual violence under the guise of relief, with perpetrators often presenting themselves as people who can offer food or water. She not only believes in the need for an end to world hunger, she stands with the survivors of gender-based violence, as the systems in place have failed them.

Her love for the humanities is derived from her observation of the underrepresented of her community. Like many other young humanitarians, she continues to seek ways to drive real change for the future of her people. Though she cares deeply for the children of Africa, she works towards a new goal of supporting and representing disenfranchised people across Africa and around the world.

Her passion and dedication to her people led her to the organization in 2024. By joining Mutual Aim, she hopes to reach her people on a larger scale. Her dream is to further the cause of the organization by protecting some of the world’s most vulnerable.
